North Bay man wins $100,000 in Poker Lotto draw

Dale Forth of North Bay was dealt a winning hand in the September 7, 2020 POKER LOTTO draw. Dale matched five of five cards to win $100,000.

A 74-year-old married father of two, Dale discovered his win while visiting a retailer. “I used the Ticket Checker to scan my ticket and that’s when I saw the ‘Big Winner’ message on the screen,” he shared, while at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto to pick up his cheque. “I was stunned!”

The first person that Dale told about his win was his wife. “She had the same reaction as I did at first, but she was overjoyed,” he smiled.

As Dale doesn’t currently have a vehicle, he is planning to use his winnings to buy a car.
