Mikita Badziakouski raised to 33,000 from the hijack and Mustapha Kanit called from the cutoff. In the big blind. Juha Helppi moved all in and Badziakouski folded. Kanit asked for a count and tank-called.

Helppi: {K-Diamonds}{K-Spades}
Kanit: {J-Spades}{10-Spades}

The {K-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{3-Clubs} flop gave no sign of hope for Kanit, and Helppi locked up the double on the {7-Clubs} turn, making the {9-Diamonds} river meaningless.

Leo Yan Ho Cheng limped in from the cutoff and small blind Pratyush Buddiga shoved for 152,000. The big blind folded and Cheng thought about it for a bit before calling.

Leo Yan Ho Cheng: {Q-Spades}{10-Diamonds}
Pratyush Buddiga: {J-Hearts}{10-Hearts}

Cheng had gotten it in good, but the flop brought some outs for Buddiga: {K-Diamonds}{A-Hearts}{4-Hearts}. The {Q-Diamonds} on the turn gave Buddiga the straight and the {8-Spades} on the river was a blank. Double up for Buddiga.

Jason Koon shoved the cutoff and Bryn Kenney called all in from the big blind with the {A-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}. Koon flipped over the {A-Spades}{K-Hearts} and the board ran out {8-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{5-Hearts}. The stacks were counted and Koon had 245,000, which covered Kenney.

Steve O'Dwyer was the chip leader at the break, but the first player above one million is Christoph Vogelsang.

Georgios Zisimopoulos shoved for 174,000 from early position and Vogelsang called from two seats over. Before the showdown, Zisimopoulos said "I am definitely behind" and the Greek was right.

Zisimopoulos: {K-Spades}{Q-Diamonds}
Vogelsang: {K-Clubs}{K-Hearts}

The board ran out {Q-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{4-Diamonds} and Zisimopoulos found no miracle, but rather joined the rail.

Joining the action on the heads up flop of {Q-Clubs}{7-Spades}{2-Clubs}, Robert Soogea bet 75,000 out of the big blind and Jannis Brauer called from early position. The {10-Hearts} fell on the turn and Soogea now bet 100,000. That was enough to force a fold, Brauer folded.

The remaining 39 players have been sent on a 15-minute break.

At almost the same time and on two different tables, Ye Zhang and Alexander Lynskey have been eliminated. Lynskey moved all in from the button for 95,000 with the {Q-Diamonds}{J-Spades} and Thiago Crema called in the big blind with {A-Clubs}{J-Diamonds}.

The board ran out {10-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{8-Spades} and that was it for Lynskey.

David Yan raised to 25,000 from early position and Bryn Kenney three-bet to 71,000 out of the small blind. Yan called and the flop came {A-Hearts}{K-Clubs}{5-Spades}. Kenney continued for 37,000 and Yan called before doing so again for 63,000 on the {A-Spades} turn.

Yan called and then the {K-Diamonds} river went check, check. Yan flashed {K-Hearts}{10-Hearts} and Kenney mucked pocket eights.

Jason Koon jammed the cutoff for 138,000 and Sergey Lebedev called in the big blind.

Koon: {A-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}
Lebedev: {K-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds}

The board ran out {6-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}{7-Spades}{8-Hearts} and the ace-high won the pot.
