Ben Affleck Uncertain on what�s in the Cards after Leaving Rehab
It is not known what rehab facility he entered or how long his rehab period was. Nevertheless, Affleck hinted on his Facebook page: "I have completed treatment for alcohol addiction; something I've dealt with in the past and will continue to confront," he wrote. The actor's first trip was back in 2001 at Dependency Treatment Center in Malibu, California.
Affleck has never really acknowledged gaming or gabling issues, even though the 44-year old has been involved with some gaming-related scandals.
The Hard Rock Casino in Las Vegas has barred the actor from the blackjack tables back in 2014 due to card counting. The issue came as a result of winning a reported $1 million in two visits to the casino area.
Poker is another game Affleck is good at as he won the 2004 California State Poker Championship. He was even named an A-list Hollywood star playing in high-stakes Hollywood home game hosted by Molly Bloom. The poker sessions held had stars like Matt Damon, Leonardo Di Caprio, and Tobey Maguire.
Bloom wrote her experience regarding the illegal gambling sessions and said that Affleck was "attractive and tall with a charm that is comfortable which not all stars have in person."
With his divorce to fellow-celebrity Jennifer Garner in the midst, along with his film ‘Live by Night' which he wrote and directed a flop the cause of his personal turmoil, Affleck has once again decided to visit sobriety.
"I want to live life to the fullest and be the best father I can be," Affleck wrote on Facebook. "I want my kids to know there is no shame in getting help when you need it, and to be a source of strength for anyone out there who needs help but is afraid to take the first step."
