Who Would You Trust More Investing? A Chess, Poker or Bridge Player?

If you're a poker player, you may be a more successful investor in the stock market than a chess player. That's the view of ex-World Series of Poker champion Annie Duke.

"A poker player would make a better investor," Duke said when she popped into TheStreet's office recently. "The reason is that poker looks more like investing than chess does."

She explained that the games pose different problems. With chess, you can see all the pieces. With poker, there are unknown factors, such as the opponents' cards, and an element of luck, which is more like investing in companies' stocks.
