Neymar is continuing to enjoy downtime away from football as he made it to the finals of a Brazilian poker series back in Sao Paulo.

The PSG star's bluffing skills on the pitch are notorious, but they clearly extend to the poker table.

He made it through as one of nine players left in a tournament which began with 288 participants.

Neymar finished sixth in the final standings, with Affif Prado finishing top of the leaderboard.

After Brazil's quarter-final exit at the World Cup earlier this month, Neymar will soon be required to return to PSG training.

He has not played for the  Ligue 1 champions since breaking his ankle in February.

But he started in all five of Brazil's games at the World Cup, though he failed to have the influence he would have wished.

The 26-year-old scored twice but his histrionics took much of the limelight away from his impact on the pitch.
