Football Fan Transforms His Garage Into $35,000 Mancave With 14 Screens

We've made it, guys. The return of football is almost upon us, the light at the end of the lockdown tunnel. But one man is more prepared than most for the arrival of the Premier League.

David Mckinder, from Sydney, Australia, has spent the best part of 10 years turning his garage into a footballing Mecca, complete with a dugout, bar, a Tottenham Hotspur-themed poker table - oh, and just the 14 TVs.

He's even got one in a coffee table and a huge projector!

All in, the 46-year-old told LADbible that it cost him around AU$35,000 (£19,112) to transform the space into every football fan's dream. So it's not a cheap job, but Dave says it's worth every penny.

He said: "I was sick of watching sports by myself.

"As the times are really late and early in my part of the world, I had a dream that what if I could watch all my favourite sports at once, as well as a good game of poker with my mates while we're at it."

Adding: "We were looking for a house about 10 years ago and I spotted the house we are in now. It had a four-car garage, and with only having one car the 'mancave was born'.

"Within four weeks, the wall was up. Then, two years later, the grass was in, and it just went from there."

Dave says his pals love coming over and watching some footy, and they can't wait for it to start again in just a few days time.

He said: "The passed three months has let me catch up on some sleep but I miss watching sport and hanging out with my mates.

"I normally hold about three big poker games and events while the football's on.

"My mates think it's amazing, they love the space to get away from their life and chill and have a bit of banter during the game."

Now, you might be wondering whether Dave has any plans on expanding his pretty incredible creation. Well, he does. Some serious plans.

He said: "3D Art, a rotating floor so the chairs can face the nine TVs on the wall, draught beer, and more trophies.

"I can't say too much about it but it will look cool... everything in my mancave is unique."

We'll be sure to keep you updated with all of Dave's plans for the future.
