Obituary: Lourdes Jimenez, age 75, of Naugatuck
NAUGATUCK, CT - (From Naugatuck Valley Memorial Funeral Home) Lourdes Jimenez, age 75, beloved wife of Avelino Jimenez, passed away at her home on Sunday August 16, 2020.
Mrs. Jimenez was born in the Philippines on January 6, 1945, daughter of the late Lorenzo and Apolinaria Marcos. She worked as an accountant for Mikasa while living in New Jersey, and resided in Naugatuck for the past three years with her family. Lourdes enjoyed cooking, gameshows, watching Filipino shows, and playing her hand held poker games. She was a huge fan of Elvis Presley and Princess Diana.
Besides her husband of Naugatuck, Lourdes leaves her daughters, Elena Nelsen of South Salem, NY, Victoria Jimenez of Danbury, and Michelle Jimenez of Naugatuck; her four grandchildren, Liam, Maya, Kiley and Caelan; her brother Gerardo Santos Marcos; her sisters, Herminia Marcos Naval, and Florentina Marcos Sinsay; and several nieces and nephews and cousins.
